My experience with Shining Moon RO is limited only to the Niflheim server, so take this review with a grain of salt. The server is small but up to date, and offers the user the ability to choose their EXP. Sadly, however, I would NOT recommend this server. The head GM, Lunar, is apathetic to the concerns of the community. If you voice something they do not agree with, expect to get publicly debased and ostracized. I regret donating to a server that does not treat its users fairly, as humans.

Balanced cash shop, very active and friendly GMs, community is wholesome and helpful except for a few bad apples. Very easy to get into. This is my first renewal server and I am loving it so far. Only thing that could improve my experience is to have more players online. This server deserves a larger playerbase, the whole gameplay experience would be excellent if forming parties took less time. And im confident with a server as good as this, more players will come.

Have been playing this server since the first week of its release. I am very satisfied with how most of it closely it resembled the official kRO server. There are a few customization like fort pit dungeon and fortressa dungeon. But that's because you can obtain the items which are supposedly from the cash shop in official by farming them. GM are active in the discord but not so much in the server. Players are very helpful. No sign of guild competition, PvP or BG but it is a good PvM server.

Good potential server with lots of innovative ideas. Advanced party loot system makes partying in instances not a drag, although the difficulty system needs more revamp imo, current party is more of flock of sheep following each other instead of teamwork-play. MVP card drop rates needs adjustments, I agree MVP cards should be more accessible as a mid-rate server, but the current rates of drop on MVP cards (especially on how easy it is to get one via card exchanger album) is a huge turn-off.

Excellent gameplay, features and community. seems like one of the underrated servers in here. economy of the game is quite ok, while player count seems to be low in the renewal server I am playing in (they have 2 servers, 1 pre-re and one with renewal + others) I would suggest this game to old players of ragnarok who wants their gameplay mixed with flavor.

For a server with not much population I really don't understand how the economy here is so bloody ridiculous. Each and every item in the vend are grossly overpriced. Prices here are double/quadruple of that from another more famous renewal server. Everything else from this server is okay-excellent. Its the economy thats turning me off bigtime. For now I cant recommend this server to newcomers. Might as well play on the other server with more accesible prices.

[Helheim]Clearly,The server is currently in the list for the top renewal servers today. QoL changes are nice,Lunar is a friendly guy,advanced looting system is great,World bosses are kinda meh,& the server is too focused in PVM.Not that I'm saying that it's bad, but seeing how the server is going today,i can definitely say that it's too boring.The only challenging part about the game is getting perfect enchants.Dont hate me on this, I love the server but Munbalance was a mistake.

(Niflheim) I'm not sure where to start. SMRO got me hooked! The updated content is juicy and just keeps getting better. The custom QoL features, only made possible by Lunar's witchcraft, makes the RO experience much more enjoyable than I could possibly imagine (party loot, class mastery and such). It is not P2W at all, as all kRO cash items - and for nif, the jRO build enabling gear - are obtainable from instances/dungeons/mvps in a very balanced system. Server is growing and I'm loving it <3

To begin, IS THE SERVER OF THE YEAR, Good events, amazing drop system, an amazing kRo like experience since the GM Lunar has a lot of effort and doesnt make false promises like Such servers that begin with N and ends in kcufing sh*t, i love this server since the begining, the comunity is good rn and the major part of the actualizations are often and filled with new items and improvements to the actuals systems and new ones are amazing af, excellent work Lunar. if anyone read this COME TO SHINING
